Equations and Numerical
Linear Algebra. The topics that will be covered include:
floating point arithmetic, solution of nonlinear equations and
nonlinear systems of equations, Gaussian elimination and LU
factorization for the solution of linear systems of equations,
polynomial and radial basis function (RBF) interpolation, numerical
integration, Runge-Kutta methods for ordinary differential equation
(ODE) initial value problems
Prerequisites: Math
331 (Linear Algebra) and computer programming experience.
